LEAGUE FORMAT AND SCHEDULE FOR EVENTS
- All schools must contact SLSL no later than 24hrs before the start time of the fixture if they wish to attend. Unless we have heard otherwise we shall assume that you are not attending the event.
- If you have said that you are coming but do not attend without prior notice being given, points may be deducted from the team in question.
- Registration beings at 10am for 10.30am.
- Registration consists of filling in a P.I. form provided by SLSL. This is a very important document and until we have the form back for that event, points will not be added to the league tables.
- The warm-up will begin promptly at 10.45am.
- If you are running late please call Sharon 07515 539825 or Helen 07590 565779. If as a consequence you miss the organised warm-up, it is up to the teachers of that school to ensure that a full warm-up is given to the team.
- All match lengths will depend on how many teams attend on the day, however a minimum of 5 mins one way will always be played.
- Central timekeeping for the referee’s will be used so make sure that your team is at the correct pitch at the appropriate time. A team may be penalised for not arriving at their pitch on time. Teams will consist of 1 goalkeeper and 5 other players. Roll-on roll-off subs are permitted at any time.
- At the discretion of the tournament referee, a penalty shoot-out may occur in the following format:
o Each team are to provide a goalkeeper and 3 penalty kick takers.
o Each person will be allowed one try only.
o If after the first round the scores are even, a sudden death penalty shoot-out will occur, whereby the team only has to be one goal ahead to win the shoot-out.
- The event will be finished after the formal presentation of medals and certificates. This will be at approx 1.30 – 2pm.
- If your school needs to leave early/promptly please let us know so we can plan accordingly.
- Any amendments to these rules can be raised at the South London Special League AGM.
- Please note that it is up to the schools/day centres to organise drinks for the participants. We will not provide bottles/cups for drinking.
