Cricket
The cricket project has at last been launched with 2 very successful days of fun training and games.
The first was held at Alleyns School, on Wednesday 8th July coached by Tony Joseph of Cricket for Change. Unfortunately the rain prevented us from using their fabulous cricket ground, but, we were compensated by using their fantastic indoor sports hall.
On Wednesday 15th July we were welcomed to use Blackheath Cricket Club. Four schools took advantage of this fabulous day: Woodside, Rowhill, Brent Knoll and Elm Court. Everybody enjoyed taking part in fun skill-based activities and then a limited over competition. Winners on this occasion were Rowhill. Everyone felt that a good day was had by all and are looking forward to our Cricket Championship next summer.

On Tuesday 22nd September we will be celebrating our new partnership with cricket by taking a journey down to Arundel Castle Cricket Foundation to play cricket as the guests of John Barclay, the next president of the MCC!
It can only be a wonderful experince at this idyllic venue.
